McLarty Centre provides active learning
McLarty Centre helps to provide active learning, in Pine River Watershed, along Lake Huron's southeast shore
The McLarty Outdoor Education Centre provides a welcoming outdoor space to connect with the environment through hands-on experiences and outdoor learning.
Thanks to community funding, Pine River Watershed Initiative Network (PRWIN) has added a new sun shelter, platform and interpretive educational storyboards to enhance the educational site.
The Network is currently working on extending the trails loop, called McLarty Centre Woodland Trail Loop, to continue to loop to the Osprey nest and to enhance hands-on educational experiences.
The McLarty Centre is located at 178 Sideroad 20 in the Township of Huron-Kinloss.
